الملخص

The urgent need for continuous and specialized training programs to systematically and practically enhance the skills of future teachers has become evident. The absence of such programs negatively affects the outcomes of the teaching and learning process, which should align with the accredited standards and quality requirements of higher education. From this perspective, the research problem arises in the following main question: What is the effectiveness of a continuous training program in developing the skills of employing digital technologies among female students at the Faculty of Education?

The study aims to employ a quasi-experimental longitudinal approach to measure the effectiveness and impact of a continuous training program in utilizing digital technologies to accomplish research projects among female students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Zawiya University. The sample was purposefully selected and consisted of 41 students from the Department of Education and Psychology, in accordance with the study’s objectives.

The program was implemented across three dimensions and included 24 items, with pre-test, follow-up, and post-test assessments. The findings indicated that the continuous training program had a positive and significant impact on developing digital technology application skills, improving the quality of research projects, and enhancing collaborative learning, organizational skills, and teamwork. The results also emphasized the importance of academic training in improving the efficiency of future teachers. Moreover, the continuous training program effectively enhanced students’ digital competence, which was positively reflected in the quality of research projects in terms of organization, presentation, and digital data analysis.

Additionally, the program strengthened teamwork and collaborative learning among students, leading to improved communication and knowledge sharing during project implementation. Statistical analysis confirmed strong significance across all hypotheses, underscoring the program’s success in achieving its educational and technological objectives. Practical application and active engagement within the program played a crucial role in building digital confidence and developing applied research thinking skills.
