Abstract

This study explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing education as a key product of the digital revolution and a tool for reshaping learning in the 21st century. It identifies major AI applications in education—such as personalized learning, automated assessment, intelligent tutoring systems, and content management—and evaluates their positive impact on teaching quality, student motivation, and educational decision-making. The research also highlights challenges including data privacy, algorithmic bias, weak infrastructure, and the need for teacher training. It concludes that AI should complement, not replace, teachers and recommends investing in digital infrastructure, continuous teacher training, data protection policies, and the integration of AI into national education strategies, while calling for further field studies in Arab educational contexts.
