Abstract

Artificial intelligence represents a pivotal tool in accelerating scientific research, bringing about radical shifts in ethical dimensions and standards of scientific integrity. The use of intelligent algorithms raises profound challenges related to the potential for embedded bias and the need to ensure transparency in automated decision-making processes. AI outputs challenge traditional notions of scientific authorship and the credibility of results, necessitating a thorough re-examination of integrity standards and ethical values in this technological era. Establishing strong ethical governance and fostering effective collaboration among stakeholders is of paramount importance. Continuing education initiatives are also crucial to enable researchers to engage responsibly with these technologies. The need to design and develop transparent and auditable algorithms is essential to ensure credibility and prevent potential biases. These challenges underscore the paramount importance of integrating ethical considerations and scientific integrity into AI research as a prerequisite for responsible and reliable scientific progress. This requires adopting a holistic approach based on enhancing transparency and encouraging participation.
