Abstract

Traditional educational curricula today face significant challenges due to rapid technological developments and the wide diversity among students. These curricula are often rigid and do not allow for adaptation of education to the needs of each individual student, which negatively affects the quality of learning and limits the full benefit students can gain. This research explores how artificial intelligence (AI) can contribute to developing curricula, making them more interactive and flexible to meet the unique needs of every learner. The main research questions revolve around how AI can contribute to updating curricula, the technical and organizational obstacles hindering the application of these technologies, as well as the ways to empower teachers and educational institutions to adopt this vital technological transformation. The study followed an analytical and descriptive approach, including a review of previous literature alongside the examination of successful international case studies that employ AI tools such as adaptive learning, recommendation systems, and performance data analysis. The research also addresses relevant ethical and legal challenges related to protecting student privacy and ensuring sustainability. Results indicate that AI offers substantial opportunities for personalizing education and improving curricula, while also enhancing teachers' capabilities to design tailored educational plans. However, key challenges remain regarding infrastructure, training, and privacy protection, which must be addressed for successful implementation. The study recommends developing teacher training programs, enhancing digital infrastructure, and establishing clear regulatory and legal frameworks. The integration of AI represents the promising future of intelligent and effective education.
