Abstract

The study aimed to identify of the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing knowledge ethics from the point of view of faculty members at Zawia University. The study used the descriptive approach. After collecting data by means of a questionnaire that was distributed to the study sample, which is a case study of the two colleges (College of Information Technology) (College of Economics), the data were analyzed. The data was then analyzed and the results showed that the paragraphs reflecting faculty members’ awareness of knowledge ethics were at an average level. It also showed that the level of paragraphs on the use of artificial intelligence in the academic environment at the university under study was average, and that the ethical challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence were high at the university under study. There is a positive relationship between artificial intelligence and knowledge ethics. This means that the greater the level of AI use, the greater the enhancement of knowledge ethics.
